Great product. A lot more space. Easy to use.

Purchased the AeroPack 10 a couple years ago direct from the manufacturer. I have used the product twice for a approx 1000 miles total.

We have a family of 4. Two adults and 2 kids. The AeroPack holds all of our clothes bags (and other gear, you can really stuff this thing full) for about a week trip. So this is plenty of space if you know how to travel light. We drive a 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring. Using this allows us to take both of our dogs with us. Both times we have used it it has been easy to use: easy to load with gear, easy to load on the car and take off.

We have a Thule roof rack too. We decided to go with the AeroPack despite having the hardware to accommodate a roof-top cargo pod. This way we can throw the bikes on top of the car if we want and still haul all our camping gear, clothes etc.

Easy Extra Cargo!

We were looking for a way to take everything we need for two weeks on the road and still leave room in the back of our Liberty for our two huge dogs. Can't have anything on the roof because we have the slider. The AeroPack is the perfect solution. It holds WAY more than you'd think and attaches to the back SO easily. A very cool product. The only recommendation I'd make, and the reason I gave it only 4 stars, is that there needs to be a way for the license plate to be displayed. If you hang the pack low enough to see out the back window, it obscures the license plate. Some police will let you get away with it because it's not a permanent fixture on the car, but it's not really legal. We scanned our plate and printed a copy, enclosed it in plastic and duct taped it to the bag. I think the perfect solution would be a plastic sleeve on the bag that the plate could slide into. Add that, and it gets 5 stars.
