Just the thing!

I had been using cut off blue jean bags for weight with My Caldwell lead sled until I saw these bags. Nice, heavy duty construction with handles and a zipper closure to easily fill them with sand or lead shot. Now I not only have bags that match the rifle rest, in a pinch they can be substituted for sandbags. Great product and well worth the price.

Great shooting bag at a great price!

Great bags! Just what I needed to fill with lead shot and take to the shooting range. 25 lbs of shot just fits in each bag. They are tough and easy to carry. They are made for a perfect fit in the tray of my Caldwell shooting rest.

Cool addition to my Caldwell Lead Sled

I purchased a four pack of these bags along with my Caldwell Lead Sled. I noticed that you can also use free weights to hold down the Lead Sled, but the ability to use these portable bags and fill them with lead shot, sand, or whatever makes for an easier trip to the range. I would feel odd walking up to the shooting area with my lead sled and some free weights. "Yeah, lets do some shooting and work out!" not so much. these bags fit will in my shooters bag that goes with me to the range with my eye and ear protection, and depending on the gun I'm shooting, I use two, three, or all four bags on the base of my Lead Sled. These also come in handy rather than using a shot bag for a barrel rest, just put one of these under your barrel and voila!
Cheapest option to fill these is to go to any hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) and buy the playground sand. Lead shot is better especially for using these as a barrel rest, but from a cost standpoint the playground sand wor ks as well and doesn't leak out of the seams like some other bags out there.
